OVER 1,000 LEXUS LM AND TOYOTA LAND CRUISER RECALLED

Mumbai, March 4 -- Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Lexus India have initiated a significant recall in India impacting over 1,000 vehicles across their premium SUV lineups. The action has been taken to address a potential issue related to the rear stabiliser link, which could affect vehicle handling.

The recall covers specific batches of the Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX models manufactured between August 2024 and November 2025. Exact production dates and unit counts vary by variant, but the total number of affected vehicles exceeds 1,000 units in India.

According to the manufacturers, the rear stabiliser link in some of the affected vehicles may experience premature wear under certain driving conditions. If this occurs, it could compromise steering precision and overall stability during manoeuvres. No accidents or injuries related to this issue have been reported so far.

Customers who wish to check their vehicle's eligibility for recall can also contact their nearest authorised Toyota or Lexus dealership by providing the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
